I was chatting with an old gal friend of mine back in CA Deb, and she and I were talking about how much make-up cost and how she needs it for work, and then we ended up wondering why it's not considered a tax deductible for women that must look a certain way for the work place. She wears make-up due to a lot of blemishes on her face, and she covers them up with make-up to look good for her job as well as for her to feel better about herself. She mentioned that she never would have gotten the job if she didn't wear make-up due to how society places so much emphases on a persons looks and image.
So what do all the women in the world and in the work place think about this?
